Pantothensäure trägt als einer von wenigen Nährstoffen einen zugelassenen Claim zur geistigen Leistung – das macht sie im Konzentrations- und Gedächtnissegment zu einer sachlich belastbaren Alternative zu Pflanzenextrakten, die dort gar nichts aussagen dürfen. Als Einzelvitamin ist B5 im Fachhandel selten gelistet, obwohl es in vielen Komplexpräparaten enthalten ist; wer es gezielt sucht, findet meist kein Angebot.
